Looking for an artistic outing on a Thursday evening? Join us every Thursday to dive into creative adventures with other makers! No medium restrictions or sketchbooks necessary. This “Club” is created to bring us Makers and Creatives into a space to connect and make together. Bring your own mediums of choice, a sketchbook or any surface or project to play with. There may be weekly prompts, along with various mediums and materials available to dive into and play with (project fees may apply). Giggle Water Specials! Cost: Free!

05/02 from 11am-1pm Suminagashi, Japanese Paper Marbling: Suminagashi, translating to "floating ink," is an ancient marbling technique where makers will float ink on water and build out “tree” rings then use different techniques to move the water and create unique shapes and interesting visuals then laying a pieces of different types of paper on the surface and stealing the imagery from the water. COST: $50 Includes multiple papers of varying types to marble onto, inks, and instruction. You’ll also receive $5 off of your first beverage. Reservations are required. Only SIX spaces available. In this watercolor workshop we will be pulling from our natures gems and exploring the watery whimsy of these paints. Makers are welcome to choose from pre-drawn examples or draw their own. 05/09 from 11:00-2:00 Art History + Makings from 11:00am-2:00pm We will be collaborating with … Dorothy Paredes on our second Art History Series. Makers will get a glimpse into the history of this month's highlighted artist, Paul Signac. After our brief storytelling about the history of the artist, makers will get to dive into an art painting project mirroring Signac’s Neo-Impressionist Pointillism imagery and theme. COST: $30/maker. Includes a short lecture by Dorothy Paredes about Paul Signac. Instruction and material for project, $1 off Shrubbles (our take on mimosas. Shrubs and Bubbles) and a completed art piece. Each maker will get to take home a 5x7 to memorialize your experience! Skill Level: Beginner on up.

05/10 from10:00-2:00:Mimosas + Mosaic- Cuddle up this Sunday with us and dive into the delightful puzzle-like mediation of mosaics. In this workshop we will be designing and decorating a candle wall sconce using a mix of broken dishes that makers will get to pick and break themselves and small glass tiles. COST: $95/maker. 05/15 from 5:30-8:00 Graphic Play with Gouache Acrylics and a Scandinavian Twist- Gouache is a really lovely paint to create matte graphic imagery with. In this workshop we will be playing with Scandinavian Folk Art inspired imagery and working with techniques that help makers explore this graphic game made for reproduction. COST: $50/maker. Includes all materials, instruction, and a final 5x7 art piece. Makers will also receive $5 off their first drink and the choice of 20% off the vibrant Gouache Acrylic sets. 05/16 from 1:00-3:00 Cyanotype, Clippings from the Garden: Cyanotype was one of the first photographic processes which came around in the 1840s. The word comes from the Greek cyan meaning “deep blue”. In this workshop we will be cozying up in the Rabbit Hole. After we take your photos we will convert them into large negatives and show each person the process to make their own final image. Cost: $60/maker. Includes two sample papers to explore possibilities and compositions and one final surface i.e. fabric pouch, fabric banner, and more. You’ll also receive $5 off of your first beverage. 2-day Felted Shroom or Moth
PLEASE NOTE: This workshop takes place on BOTH 2/21 and 2/22 from 11am-2pm
There is such fascination in the tiniest of flora and fauna. In this woodland adventure we will be grabbing our imaginary microscope, an array of colorful fibers and creating a creature or fungi of giant proportion. Makers will learn the skills and techniques to create their choice of 3D felted moth, butterfly or mushroom. Day one will be constructing bodies, wings, stems and mushy hats. Day two will be saturated in colorful fiber choices to adorn your felted sculpture. Level: Beginner on up.
Peyote Stitch Bracelet
In this workshop, we explore one of the stitches used in the ancient tradition of beading. Makers will learn the Peyote stitch. A stitch that fools the brain into believing a loom was used when in fact there is not one. Design your bracelet using a special graph paper and a beautiful selection of beads. Level: Beginner on up.
Vision Quest Collage & Encaustic
The year is wrapping up and our minds have a beautiful habit of looking to the future and what we can do to better our lives and design imagery to inspire us. Encaustics and collaging lends it self well to nestling into these ideas and playing with the layers and concepts to help bring these manifestations to the surface. In this workshop, Rosie will teach techniques and help makers to explore ideas and how to build a unique piece of art that explores these visions. $85 per maker, includes $10 off your first beverage.
Winter Diorama Ornament
Using hollowed out paper machete ornaments, makers will get the chance to create a winter scene. We will be supplying paint, collage materials, sculpt for 3D additions and more! $50 per maker.

Colors play and wander across glass ornaments. Drip dropping the vibrant alcohol ink over the glass surface creates such a sweet fun spontaneous outcome. $40/maker for TWO ornaments, extra ornaments are $15/ea.
