The holiday season is upon us and the most cherished gift is receiving original art in the mail! In this workshop, Rosie will teach you to etch your own holiday cards using a technique called Dry Point Etching. This is technique using a sharp scribe to scratch out your design onto a hard plastic plate, then adding ink, wiping off excess ink and running plate at special paper through an Intaglio (uhn·tal·yow) Press. Each maker will get to print a minimum of five cards with opportunity to print more. This is a workshop that is accessible to all skill sets as Rosie will have images available to trace and use for reference. Makers are also welcome to bring their own images to use.
