Join us this Friday, Saturday, and next Friday at 6pm at The Bazaar for an Interest Meeting about our Large Format Printmaking Workshop starting in mid April. This six week workshop will teach you how to design, transfer, carve and print a 3ft x 8ft wood block. At the end of our adventure together, we will be hosting a Steamroller Printmaking Event where we will ink your blocks and then drive a heavy duty compact roller over your board to print your piece onto fabric. During the workshop, we'll spend two weeks designing and carving a smaller block which will then be transferred to your final large wood block and you'll spend time over the following month carving. Our meeting this weekend and next Friday will include all the details and opportunity to ask as many questions as you'd like. We'll be determining the dates and times we will be meeting during the duration of the six weeks course starting. We will have examples of past blocks that have been carved and printed.
